Fishing Report

Date: July 6th.

Offshore:  Offshore fishing.  The summer bite is on.  Yesterday on a 10 hour trip, limits of  snapper, amberjack, kings and a nice grouper were caught, We have also been landing some nice Wahoo.  With fuel prices, there seems to be less fishing pressure.  The weather has been great for fishing so hurry up and reserve a fishing trip with us today and make some great memories for tomorrow!!!

Inshore: Captain Rob has been so busy catching fish offshore that he has not had time for any inshore trips.

Tight Lines till our next report..

Date: March 1st.

Offshore:
The amber jacks and groupers are close in and are on the bite.  Two of our favorite customers, A.B. and Ben caught a large 45 lbs. gag grouper and several 30 - 60 lbs. amber jacks on a half day charter.   (See picture of amberjacks to the right.)

Inshore: Sheep head and trout are being caught near the rigs and rocky bottom.  We are using shrimp and grubs for bait.

Date: May 8th.

Offshore:  Offshore fishing has been nothing short of fantastic. On recent 10 and 12 hour trips, catches of amberjack in the 30 to 50 pound range and grouper, including a gag nearly 50lbs, some red grouper and a good many scamp have been recorded. On shorter bottom fishing trips, 6-8hrs, we are slow trolling for king and Spanish Mackerel to our bottom spots in Florida State Waters to catch our limit of a really nice grade of Red Snapper in the 10 to 15lb range. Several of the snappers have been 20+, and I know there are a couple of monsters on one particular spot wearing some Jewelry compliments of my tackle box. When you hook into one of these studs, you have to pump and reel like there is no tomorrow!!!

Inshore: Sheepshead is still good, but our efforts are turning towards Speckled Trout in the evenings around lights and especially on the incoming tide, and, when I am available during the day, for flounder, which are showing up from offshore.....Tight Lines till our next report...Capt.Rob
